Our Brand Story

Hello and welcome to SparksMag! 

Whether you found us through word of mouth, a group buy, or a simple Google search - we’re so glad you’re here.

Our story all began with familiar little voices at home:

“Mama, can you help me build the car tracks?”
“Papa, can you help me fix this?”
“Can you build the marble run for me?”

At first, we happily built alongside our toddlers , their faces lighting up as marbles rolled and cars raced. But over time, we realised we were doing most of the building for them. The joy of discovery belonged to us, not our children. That’s when it struck us: the process of play is far more important than the final structure.

If our kids couldn’t complete the task on their own, maybe the toy’s design wasn’t right for their little hands. So we relook at magnetic toys and asked ourselves — how can we make them easier, safer, and more intuitive for young children, without taking away the joy of building?

And that’s how SparksMag was born - a Singapore-owned brand founded by two educator-mums passionate about child-led play, creativity, and STEAM learning.

Every product we design — from our Magic Drawable Magnetic Tiles to the Marble Run and Vroom Car City® — is thoughtfully created to nurture imagination, problem-solving, and confidence through hands-on, open-ended play.
